Major General Doty and Brigadier General Brooke announced the formation of Veterans for Sali
Today Major General Doty and Brigadier General Brooke announced the formation of Veterans for Sali, a group aimed at ensuring Congressman Bill Sali wins reelection.
Veterans for Sali are a group of prominent veterans who are seeking to raise awareness for the important works that Rep. Sali has done during his time in Congress and the Idaho legislature to address issues most important to these American heroes. Congressman Sali has fought relentlessly since his election in 2006 to improve funding for the troops and veterans who have served our country so bravely. "Representative Sali has fostered essential legislation aimed at providing resources to improve the benefits of our nation's veterans. His work to address the issues most important to those who have served our great nation has been invaluable just what we would expect and need from our Congressman," said Major General Doty. He later added that, "The bottom line is Idaho needs a Congressman who will support our troops, while they are serving in active duty and after they retire." Brigadier General Bob Brooke echoed General Doty's remarks by adding "Not only has Bill sought to improve the conditions of veterans in Idaho, he has actively fought for what is needed for our active duty troops those serving in Iraq and Afghanistan and protecting freedom and democracy everywhere." Bill Sali is a freshman Congressman running for reelection in Idaho's 1st Congressional District. Veterans for Sali are composed of members throughout his district as of October 9th, their membership included the following:
